The Director of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for overseeing and executing the corporate partnership sales effort on behalf of The Railyard. The Railyard on Canopy Street is Lincoln, Nebraska’s premier entertainment district located across the street from Pinnacle Bank Arena.  This vibrant venue feature 13+ restaurants & bars, live entertainment, a public market, and THE CUBE.  Basic functions include maximizing the revenue potential of the venue through the extensive sales, development, and servicing of corporate partnerships while maintaining high levels of client service.


  • Responsible for prospecting, selling, cultivating and maintaining the corporate partnerships and advertising for The Railyard
  • Responsible for achieving established sales goals and budgets as set by management
  • Responsible for making cold calls & presentations for the property
  • Responsible for overseeing, coordinating corporate partnership fulfillment
  • Responsible for servicing all corporate partnerships through various means including direct contact, weekly updates, newsletters, corporate partner gatherings, etc.
  • Responsible for creating new client initiatives to better serve the corporate partners
  • Responsible for the design of sales proposals and presentations for potential corporate partners
  • Responsible for creation/implementation of new ideas/opportunities that drive revenue
  • Work with the marketing department on opportunities to cross-sell to corporate partners
  • Responsible for tracking prospective sales and inventory throughout the season
  • Responsible for working and attending both The Railyard events
  • Responsible for cultivating and building a good working relationship with different personnel and departments within The Railyard
  • Other duties as assigned by Spectra and The Railyard key personnel


  • Must have extensive sponsorship sales experience – minimum of 3-5 years in sales, preferably in the venue, professional sports or media marketplace
  • Demonstrates or has prior advertising/sponsorship experience/knowledge of regional corporate market and/or industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experiences
  • Proficiency with data processing and MS Office applications
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and all events (as required)
