Repair, install, replace and test electrical circuits, equipment and appliances using necessary hand tools and testing instruments under electrician’s supervision.
Isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment, using suitable testing instruments under electricians supervision
Examine and test elements of electrical systems to locate obvious faults, such as blown fuses, short circuits, broken wires, loose connections, and worn motor brushes under electricians supervision
Replace faulty switches, sockets, plugs, fuses, insulators, and other simple elements of electrical systems, fixtures and appliances under electrician’s supervision
Replace bulbs and/or ballast in all electrical light systems
Replace defective equipment parts such as gears, bushings and bearings and other related electrical parts
Repair motors, transformers, generators, and electronic controllers on equipment
Report discrepancies or concerns with work assignments as necessary to the Maintenance Technician (Electrician) or the Maintenance Manager
As required, estimate materials needed and record time and materials expended on each work orders.
Operate equipment used in the maintenance of conventions facilities such as scissor lifts, boom lift and other maintenance equipment.
Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes, valves, faucets, sinks, and other plumbing facilities; repair and maintenance of the facility to include chairs, tables, doors, windows and other articles and fixtures
Operate software based tasks controlling the HVAC equipment and lighting controls for the center
Assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment; repair and maintenance of various other tools and equipment
Assist with maintenance tasks such as drywall, mixing and matching paint, stains, and painting
Assist in the completion of preventative maintenance tasks on assigned equipment in the maintenance department
Clean and organize work sites as directed
Perform other duties as required
