Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Marketing, Public Relations, Sports studies, or similar degree
- Up to 3 years of prior marketing and hospitality experience
Demonstrated ability to formulate, and execute, creative and original promotional ideas
Experience with writing press releases and marketing plans
Knowledge of database, online, and social media marketing required
Knowledge of traditional media buying and management of event advertising budgets preferred
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, both orally and in writing
Ability to travel as required; must provide own transportation
Possess valid driver’s license or have the ability to acquire
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, knowledge of event ticketing systems, i.e. Ticketmaster, preferred

Must have a demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends and holidays

While performing duties of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time constraints and with moderate to high pressure situations. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including: following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently operate a computer and other office devices such as ticketing equipment and software, laminator, calculators, telephones, copy machines, faxes and printers. Employee will also frequently move about inside and outside facility in various areas before/during/after events in the course of directing clients/groups to desired locations. Employee must constantly communicate via radio, telephone, email and in-person with others and exchange accurate information. Employee may occasionally be required due to business demands and event operations to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
