The Senior Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of catering functions while maintaining the highest standards of guest service, compliance and presentation. This position will coordinate work assignments, oversee daily activities & development of Catering Sales Managers, and assist with the planning of menus and food utilization. The position requires knowledge of principles and processes involved in high-volume banquet/catering planning, coordination and execution. This includes but is not limited to strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques and a working knowledge of food production methods.

Requires frequent ability to work on a task independently and as a part of a team for a variety of tasks. Ability to maintain a positive and productive attitude in high pressure situations. Ability to create, read and comprehend complex documents including Banquet Event Orders or beverage menus. Ability to speak clearly & concisely to direct staff and assist guests.
While performing duties of the job, the employee will constantly be required to use a computer or other technology device to grasp, fingering manipulation of product, feeling and typing. Employee will frequently be required to stand, walk and/or be mobile to move from the office location to the event location in a large facility. Employee will occasionally push, pull, climb, stoop, kneel to move office product or event product. Employees will frequently be required to lift-up to 25 pounds. Vision requires ability to constantly adjust focus and close vision to and read documents, a computer and cell phone. Ability to hear communication of others in a loud event environment.
The duties of this position are performed primarily indoors. The noise level in the work environment is frequently moderate to loud depending on daily events. Regular exposure to a loud, crowded event environment with up to thousands of guests in attendance. Ability to be available by company provided cell phone and email. Employees will be required to stand and walk extensively in an event based environment. Requires frequent use of office equipment including a computer, fax, copier, printer, calculator.
