  • Overview


    We are seeking an experienced Cook with large scale commercial kitchen experience, for special events including banquets (buffet and plated), upscale dinners, weddings, VIP dining events etc. Must have solid kitchen/culinary fundamentals, knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices. Must be well groomed and prepared to work in an ever changing, fast-paced environment. Responsible for set-up, sanitation, cleaning and closing of workstation area. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance, have reliable transportation and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.





    • Ability to speak, read and write in English
    • Able to operate standard kitchen equipment including the broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, chef’s knives and other necessary culinary tools.
    • Responsible for providing high quality, fresh food products in a timely manner for delivery to guests
    • Responsible for portioning, arranging and garnishing food plates for delivery to guests.
    • Prepares hot and cold foods following company recipes and portioning requirements
    • Responsible for observing and testing foods to ensure proper cooking..
    • Participates as a team player with specific responsibilities as related to preparation, excellent service and delivery of product.
    • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
    • Responsible for reporting any maintenance required for kitchen equipment.
    • Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
    • Responsible for communicating clearly and effectively with Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor to plan menus and estimate expected food production.
    • Prepare and plate dishes as directed such as salads, entrees and desserts
    • Ensure proper storage of all food
    • Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.




    • 2 years Prep Cook experience working in a fast-paced large scale dining venue, restaurant/catering facility required.
    • High School Graduate
    • Must be able to legally work in the United States
    • Must be able to pass criminal Background Check
    • Must be able to pass Drug Test
