  • Overview

    Provides administrative support to Sr. Director of Sales.  Coordinates activities of the Ticket Sales Department. Handles and sells all birthday packages. Assists with inter-departmental activities and the development of sales/service staff programs.  Handles special projects as assigned.

    Responsibilities

     

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Supports Ticket Sales Department with sales, service, project coordination and communications
    • Hires and Manages Departmental Interns
    • Responsible for generating revenue through the sale of Birthday Packages
    • Coordinates all in-game staff activities including group assets, birthday parties and sales tables
    • Assists Account Executives in providing customer service to Season Ticket Members
    • Coordinates all Season Ticket Member Events, Prospecting Events and Tournaments
    • Handles special projects related to the department as assigned
    • Prints, Mails and distributes all group tickets and ticket exchanges
    • Makes arrangements for outside trade shows and external Account Executive activities
    • Arranges all travel for department
    • Coordinates, tracks, and reports vacation usage
    • Assists in tracking departmental budget

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with relevant course background
    • Experience in ticket sales operations
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
    • Ability to exercise initiative and work independently with little or no supervision
    • Must be detail- oriented, with the ability to handle a number of responsibilities at the same time
    • Must be able to work events, select holidays, and beyond normal business hours as needed

      Intellectual/Social demands:

      • While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including: following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. Employees in this role will constantly be in leadership role; this requires directing others either verbally or in writing to complete tasks in prescribed time frame.  This position also requires constant use of interpersonal skills including: ability to direct/motivate/inform staff and foster collaboration, being able to recognize and resolve conflicts, being able to openly communicate in writing and verbally with clients.

       

      Physical demands:

      • While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee constantly operates a computer and other office devices such telephones, copy machines, fax machines, etc; occasionally moves about inside the office to access storage areas, cabinets and office machinery; constantly moves about the arena and event sites before, during and after events to service clients and supervise staff; constantly communicates via telephone, email and in-person with others to exchange accurate information.

       

      Work environment:

      • The essential functions of this position are performed indoors. The noise level in the work environment can range from minimal to loud during events depending on the employee’s location, and is minimal during non-event times.
