  • Overview

    Responsible for managing the Private Event Catering Sales process and providing oversight to and supporting as needed, the Café operations. Comply with department and company standard policies and procedures by performing the following: 


    • Oversee and manage sales and operations team for Brûlée Catering.
    • Actively participate in booking business at the venue and oversee execution of all catering for private events at the venue.
    • Timely response to all client inquiries with appropriate follow up on inquiries as required
    • Successfully follow the necessary steps to book business (includes all correspondence, tours & visits, tastings if needed, contract execution and all deposits and payments) and ensure all members of sales team do the same.
    • Responsible for capturing all menu and event details for each event and communicating clearlt to culinary and operations teams
    • Onsite to greet client and oversee event set up and execution of private events.
    • Oversee, when needed, the operations of the on-site Cafe 
    • Work with client to ensure Brûlée Catering is following all building rules and procedures
    • Responsible for managing Brûlée Catering Financials
    • Oversee Report of Café sales weekly
    • Responsible for working with Culinary and Operations teams to ensure Brûlée Catering passes health and safety inspections in café and storage areas
    • Keep senior management informed of work status, problems, and progress as related to work assignments or unresolved issues
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Supervisory Responsibility:

    • Café Manager, Sales team, Operations and staff/captains and service staff for events


    Standard Work Schedule:

    • Monday through Friday 9:00a to 5:00pm, weekends and events as needed, schedule May Vary


    Required at times to:

    • Work off hours or weekends



    • 5 plus years of caterings sales and concessions, OR University or Culinary School degree.
    • Experience in a high-volume managed services venue with Catering, Café and subcontract food service operations preferred

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel
    • Internet Research
    • Reserve Anywhere Software
