Represents the VSU Multi-Purpose Center as initial contact for prospective clients and the general public both on the phone and in person. Receptionist will also assist guests with event information and or route necessary calls to appropriate personnel.

The duties of this position are performed primarily inside in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal to moderate during non-event days and moderate to loud during event days.
