  • Overview

    International sports and entertainment firm seeks an experienced sponsorship and/or advertising sales professional to join Spectra Partnerships’ national sales team. As Director of National Partnerships, candidate will lead sales development of Spectra’s growing portfolio of national properties, as well as traditional and non-traditional sponsorship categories across a diverse portfolio of North American venues – including arenas, stadiums, and convention centers that host millions of spectators and thousands of live events from concerts and shows to professional sports. The Director will lead the go-to-market strategy, sales development, and service of these scalable sponsorship platforms.


    Basic functions include maximizing the revenue potential of Spectra’s venues national properties through the extensive development, sales, and servicing of corporate partnerships while maintaining high levels of client service. Travel is required.

    • Responsible for prospecting, cultivating, selling, and servicing corporate partnerships and advertising across portfolio of Spectra venues and national properties
    • Responsible for achieving established sales goals and budgets as set by management
    • Responsible for making cold calls & presentations. Travel is required.
    • Responsible for sales reporting and inventory management as set by management
    • Responsible for facilitating design of sales proposals and presentations
    • Responsible for creation/implementation of new ideas/opportunities that drive incremental revenue
    • Responsible for overseeing, coordinating corporate partnership fulfillment
    • Responsible for servicing all corporate partnerships through various means including direct contact, weekly updates, newsletters, corporate partner gatherings, etc.
    • Responsible for creating new client initiatives to better serve the corporate partners
    • Responsible for cultivating and building a good working relationship with Spectra’s GM’s and regional leadership
    • Other duties as assigned by Spectra management


    • Must have extensive proven sponsorship and/or advertising sales experience – minimum of 4-6 years; preferably in the professional sports, venue, event, or advertising sales marketplace
    • Preferably has current national advertiser contacts and relationships
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experiences
    • Proficiency with data processing and MS Office applications
    • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and all events (as required)
