    This internship provides an opportunity to learn what goes into comprehensive marketing campaigns and how day to day marketing and sales departments are run in a Performing Arts setting. Marketing interns assist with a wide variety of projects that encompass City Springs, specifically how the marketing and sales department completes tasks necessary to increase overall awareness of City Springs, ticket sales, and publicity of events.

    • Assisting with and executing event marketing and publicity plans
    • Develop and oversee grassroots marketing campaigns
    • Assisting in day-of-event operations associated with all marketing events
    • Assisting with email marketing initiatives for events (creation, execution, reporting)
    • Assisting with press releases and media advisories
    • Conducting demographics, psychographics research for various department projects
    • Gathering event news clips
    • Assisting with updating media lists
    • Assisting with brainstorming sessions and executing PR event ideas
    • Assisting with media at events
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned


    • Open to college students: Junior, Senior, Graduate Students and recent graduates
    • Travel and housing arrangements are the responsibility of the students
    • Early morning, late evening and/or weekend participation may be required
    • Part-time opportunities available, with a minimum of 20 hours per week and is a paid position.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe programs
    • Strong communication and writing skills
    • Must be: assertive, outgoing, creative, hard-working, resourceful and an independent thinker who is highly interested in working in the entertainment industry
