  • Overview

    The Flyers Game Presentation Department is looking for a driven and organized individual who has a positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn and be part of the Flyers culture. Interns will have the opportunity to gain experience in the planning and execution events, promotions, and initiatives which create the fan experience at each game.


    • Work as an integral member of the Game Presentation department to learn, plan, organize, and execute an array of elements necessary for the in-game entertainment of all Flyers home games
    • Assist in the formulation of creative and innovative ways to market Flyers products and services in-arena
    • Act as a managerial liaison for part-time employees in regards to scheduling
    • Manage inventory of large format signage and banners
    • Execute pre-game preparation and set up for various promotions and theme nights
    • Learn and assist with Game Presentation scripting and formatting for each game
    • Organize all game night inventory and promotional supplies
    • Create game night messaging copy, PA reads, and schedules  
    • Assist with ancillary events in and out of the arena when necessary
    • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned


    • Must be a college junior, senior, or graduate student (The internship is PAID, however housing/transportation are the Intern’s responsibility)
    • Interest in gaining knowledge of special events, promotions, event planning, and working for a professional sports organization
    • Highly organized with excellent time management skills
    • Able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be willing to get involved in projects with varying degrees of difficulty
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Familiarity with different design formats for both print and web
    • Video production and editing skills beneficial, but not required
