The Changeover Supervisor provides direct supervision to the changeover for facility functions for all events.
The Office Manager will provide accounting, human resource and administrative support to all Spectra personnel at the Railyard. Position will be responsible for managing various accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, payroll reporting and GL entries, closing month end(s), reconciliations, and profit statement reporting. Human Resource and administrative duties include processing payroll, facilitate timekeeping, assuring compliance in basic HR needs throughout the employee life cycle. This is an hourly position.
The Concessions Cook is responsible for prep work and cooking hot food items in the Concessions Department. Position assists with set-up, dishes and responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized work space in accordance with company specifications. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
The Concessions Cashier prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
Responsible for security aspects and supervision of employees assigned to events. Utilize all resources provided to run events effectively.
The Prep Cook assists in preparing and production of food for the venue at catered functions. Responsible for set-up, sanitation, cleaning and closing of workstation area. Employees will work in an ever changing, fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work an event based schedule.
The Catering Steward is responsible for all back of house areas being set and ready prior to events. The Catering Steward will assist in pulling and staging all equipment prior to set-up, during the event and during clean-up. All catering equipment will be maintained, stored and inventoried. Assist in other areas of Catering as required. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
The position is responsible for ensuring the safety of visitors to the XL Center and the security of restricted areas and the facility in general.
The Conference Sales Manager will ensure the facility meets all individual and departmental sales and marketing goals. This position is responsible for the overall tasks related to Sales for the facility and will also lead all sales personnel in establishing goals, procedures and daily duties.
The First Assistant Grounds Keeper responsibilities are to comply with the daily orders of the Head Groundskeeper as it pertains to game field maintenance and operations that may include soccer, football, rugby, lacrosse, and concert events. This position will supervise grounds crew members and certainly be required to fill in as Sports Turf Manager when needed.
The Operations Coordinator supervises and directs the day-to-day operations of the facilities. The position provides leadership and direction to part-time staff about building policy and procedures.
The Executive Chef has the primary duty of managing the culinary team, a recognized department of venue’s F&B operation. The Executive Chef will actively supervisor, coach, counsel, direct, train and mentor employees in meeting company qualify standards, and will independently initiate and authorize all employment actions such as hiring, termination, suspension, discipline, promotion and transfer. The Executive Chef will actively and independently manage all aspects of employee relations to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant and cooperative work environment.
The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the direction of the kitchen’s daily activities in accordance with Spectra policies and objectives to ensure guest satisfaction, profitability and a positive, productive and compliant work environment. The Executive Chef is solely responsible for the effective management and operation of the culinary team including event planning support, scheduling, food preparation and production, food cost control, compliance with food safety and sanitation policies, cleaning, kitchen safety, employee training and supervision, and any other tasks assigned by the F&B Director. The Executive Chef must provide a high level of oversight, culinary proficiency and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth running all food outlets and events.
This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The Executive Chef must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which to evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills and self-direction required.
The Sponsorship & Sales Manager is responsible for developing sponsorship packages, coordinating all sponsorship initiatives and selling sponsorship opportunities for all of the Sandler Center’s programs including the Great Performance Series, in-house promoted series and events, the education series, playbills and other opportunities. They will maintain relationships with these sponsors in order to increase revenue streams through other sources (bookings, tickets sales, etc). They will also assist in promoting the use of the meeting and function space in the Sandler Center. They will assist in developing sponsorship and promotional material for the meeting spaces and bring in new clients for bookings.
The Concessions Cashier is responsible for greeting guests in a pleasant manner while filling food and beverage orders. The Concessions Cashier will operate the Point of Sale system and collect money for purchased food and beverage items.
The Concessions Cashier must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing the serving of guests in the venue dining areas and catering functions. The Bar Manager must be personable and able to work in an ever- changing fast-paced environment. The Bar Manager will oversee scheduling, set up and execution of events with projects including training, inventory and special events.
The Bar Manager must maintain excellent attendance and organization and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
This position will work with the Assistant General Manager to oversee that day to day operations of the marketing and group sales department to promote the facilities and events while creating and maintaining relationships with media and promotional partners. The marketing manager will execute and oversee advertising, media buying, promotions, public relations and grassroots efforts for events as assigned.
The Changeover Crew Laborer will perform general labor duties as assigned. Duties included but not limited to building conversions for various events, set up and breakdown of chairs, tables, ice rink, staging etc.
