The Area Supervisor is responsible for 1) the functional oversight of the concessions bars, and/or 2) the oversight of a given specific area of concessions operations.  Responsible for the effective management and running of venue concessions bars operations including event planning support, inventory, compliance with alcohol service polices, cleaning, safety, guest service, employee training and supervision, troubleshooting, closing duties, and any other tasks assigned by the GM.  The Area Supervisor must provide a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth running of any assigned event.   This position is Located at the Met Philadelphia. Located on North Broad Street, The Met Philadelphia, the former Philadelphia Metropolitan Opera House, hosts nearly 100 concerts, sports and community events a year. Originally built in 1908 by opera impresario Oscar Hammerstein, The Met Philadelphia underwent a $56 million restoration in partnership with Live Nation, Eric Blumenfeld and Holy Ghost Headquarters to transform the historic theater into the crown jewel of North Broad Street’s renaissance.   This role will pay an hourly wage of $25 to $30.00.    For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.
